The rules, without the fog

Website terms of use

These terms cover your use of this pre-launch website. They do not create a loan, promise approval or replace the separate loan agreement every approved borrower must review before accepting credit.

Effective: 28 August 2026Governed by the laws of Ghana
No loans are offered through this website yet.

Toomi is preparing an application for a Bank of Ghana Digital Credit Services Provider licence. We will not accept loan applications, approve loans or disburse credit until the required licence is issued.

1. About these terms

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. “Toomi,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the proposed Toomi digital credit business. The registered company name, registration number, principal office and licence reference will be added after they are confirmed.

2. What this website is for

This website provides general information about Toomi’s planned service, expected eligibility, access channels, consumer protections and regulatory status. It lets you ask for launch updates by email.

Nothing on this website is financial advice, a loan offer, a guarantee of approval or a credit agreement.

3. Future loan terms will be separate

If Toomi becomes licensed and you later apply for credit, we will assess your application under our approved credit policy. Before you accept any offer, you will receive a digital pre-agreement showing the principal, interest, fees, total cost, repayment dates and other important terms.

That pre-agreement and the final credit agreement—not these website terms—will govern your loan.

4. Use the website fairly

You may browse this website for personal, lawful purposes. Please do not:

  • Try to damage, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website.
  • Use automated tools to overload or scrape the site without permission.
  • Copy or present our content in a misleading way.
  • Use the website to break the law or harm another person.
  • Send sensitive financial or identity information to our general email address.

5. Information can change

Toomi is still being developed. Product features, access channels, eligibility, limits, rates, fees, repayment periods and launch dates may change before regulatory approval and launch. We will try to keep the website clear and current, but pre-launch information should not be treated as a final product commitment.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the website available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or withdraw parts of the website when needed for maintenance, security, legal or business reasons.

7. Our content

The Toomi name, design, writing and other original website content belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, share a link to, or print a reasonable copy for personal use. You may not sell, impersonate, reproduce commercially or remove ownership notices from our content without written permission.

8. Links and third-party services

The website may link to external services, regulators or future app stores. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.

9. Responsibility

We are responsible for losses that Ghanaian law says we cannot exclude. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, Toomi is not responsible for indirect loss caused by relying on pre-launch information, a temporary website outage or a third-party website.

Nothing here removes consumer rights or limits responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct or any duty that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what information this website collects, why we use it and your choices.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the updated terms here and change the effective date. Your continued use after an update means the new website terms apply from that date.

12. Ghanaian law and disagreements

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. If there is a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it fairly. You keep any right to complain to a regulator or bring a claim before a court with jurisdiction.
